Technology has created the false impression that a community is just a bunch of names on a list, or profiles on a screen. That is not true community.
True community is created when a group of people share something. The more they share, the deeper the community.
We understand that. It is why we don't mistake technology for community. Instead, we help you understand what is most valuable about your community and we use technology to empower those in your community to enjoy more benefit.
In a world where mobile phones connect us to virtually anything, at anytime, we are more isolated than ever before. This has only been made worse in a Post-Covid society.
We care about this problem because it is huge, and fast-growing, and universal. But it is not insurmountable, and it is not a hopeless situation.
In fact, the better we become at helping individuals re-learn how to share with each other, they succeed in creating the communities they value most.
Then, the cycle can actually change. People naturally understand the value of community. When someone learns the secret to community, they naturally help others. As each person joins the effort, everyone benefits. We call it the "Community Effect."
So we care, because we care.
If you are reading this, and have dug this deep, you don't need help with technology. So, while we'll help evaluate how you use technology, we'll start first by asking you more about the people you are trying to help.
We'll ask you to share what you think your community is all about. Who values from active participation? What does the participation look like? What creates value? Why should your people do something different than they are doing now? How will they see benefit?
The answers to these questions frame the roadmap for you and your community. Within this roadmap, we can suggest better ways for you to join in the use of the tools and methods your members find most useful.
It's not a product. It's a process. Like any other process, once you understand its purpose, and how it produces the results you seek, you'll start to see ways to optimize it, and improve it, and streamline it even more. When you do this "with" your community, they embrace and accelerate it. This is the Community Effect. People sharing with people.
